9 Easy Steps to Release Weight and Toxins (Naturally !) through Internal Cleansing (Valued at $57).
Hi! My name is Cathy Vignola, and I am thrilled to be sharing with you tons of information that will make–without a doubt– a huge difference in your health, your energy level, your beauty (both inside and out) and, ultimately, your life.
I’ll be honest with you: My discovery of optimum health and energy was, at the beginning, simply connected to pure vanity (beauty is still my thing by the way!) At the age of 22, I read a book on nutrition with the intention to learn how to maintain my weight and age gracefully (funny it was a concern at such an early age!), which completely shifted my beliefs about responsibility toward my health.
That first book was Fit for Life by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond, which promotes the principles of Natural Hygiene. Back then, my understanding was that Natural Hygiene was all about food combining and cleansing the body with the right food. I now understand that Natural Hygiene and health in general is much more comprehensive than I thought.
Inspired by the book, I asked my parents to offer me my first juicer as a gift for my Graduation at École des Hautes Études Commerciales of Montreal. My parents didn’t understand the connection between my B.A. in management and my request to get a juicer! But that is what I wanted and that is what I got.
Fit for Life inspired me to prepare fresh juices and salads in order to increase my energy level and it worked, but pretty soon, I forgot about the whole thing. After all, I was very young and more interested in partying than juicing!
Not long after though, still in my twenties, I started to suffer from debilitating allergies, anemia, one-after-one yeast infections, really strong PMS and painful menstrual cramps. I remember a time when I was taking medication every day in order to control my seasonal allergies. I was alternating between different allergy relief medications (Claritin, Reactine, Allegra, etc.) because after a while, my body wasn’t responding to them. My energy level was so low that it was hard to get through the day. I was so miserable! According to my doctor, the next step was allergy shots. I was consciously delaying that process thinking: “There might be another way.”
To make matter worse, I wasn’t happy at work and missed the good time I used to have as a student. I was wondering: “What is my purpose in life?” I was working at Pepsi-Cola Quebec and I thought: ”Is my purpose really about increasing the consumption of cola in Quebec?” Ironically, I didn’t even drink cola myself because of what I learned in Fit for Life about the detrimental effect of soda on our health.
I eventually remembered my book and started to make some changes in my health routine. An important step on the path of healing was to remove dairy and wheat from my diet. My body eventually got back into balance but I noticed I continued to eat to try to ease my emotions at times.
What a long journey (But happy, healthy living is a journey for life) I eventually realized that there is more than physical healing. Falling so many times from the wagon, I started to learn about emotional and spiritual healing. I learned about the healing power of meditation and deep breathing and discovered what I consider today, the best-kept secret on the planet to achieve health and beauty.
I started to make my life work for me. I moved to New York City to live with my 5-year-long-distance boyfriend (who is now my husband), quit the corporate world, went back to school to get a certification in Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Health and turned my passion into my career. I sometimes felt the fear and had some doubts but I was always (and still am!) committed to my truth.
Said like that, turning my passion into my career seemed pretty easy but I can assure you that it was a process. After moving to New York City, I reflected a lot on my life. I wondered: “What are my passions?” What do I want to do with my life?” The answer became eventually obvious. Since reading my first book, holistic health and nutrition was a subject that was passionate to me. I read things like the correlation between diseases and our lifestyles, food as medicine, the power of our thoughts on our bodies, internal cleansing and fasting, meditation, juicing, etc. I find these subjects so fascinating.
Now 18 years after reading my first book, at the age of 40, I put together years of reading, studying, being my own lab and experiencing into a very specific process so I could coach YOU to effectively and easily put in place a daily routine that works for YOU so you too will lead an energized and exciting life free from health concerns, become a younger and more beautiful version of yourself, and live the life of your dream.
